Affiliate Disclosure

Nestdusk is reader-supported. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer or the brand. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how the site funds itself.

How you can tell

You should never have to guess. Every page that carries an affiliate link says so in a disclosure line above the first such link, and the buy buttons themselves are marked in the page code as sponsored links. A product with no affiliate link available can still be discussed - we link to it anyway, we simply earn nothing from it.

What it does not change

Commissions do not influence our scores, rankings or verdicts. Editorial recommendations should be based on reader needs, not commission rates. Where the cheaper product wins, we say so - including when we earn less as a result.

Who pays, and through what

  • We take part in affiliate programmes run by retailers, brands and affiliate networks, including Amazon and PartnerBoost. A programme pays us a percentage of a sale that started from one of our links.
  • Amazon. Some buy links currently point to Amazon in search form. When one of those carries a tracking id we will be an Amazon Associate and will earn from qualifying purchases, and this page will say so.
  • We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any brand we review. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used to identify the products.

About the prices on this site

Prices are checked against manufacturer and retailer sources, and each product page is stamped with the month they were last checked. Retail prices move constantly, and a sale can end the day after we look - so treat our figures as a guide and confirm the current price at the retailer before you buy. When we find a price has drifted, we correct the page.
